What
is Animal Communication?
We all
know that our animal companions can't read, write, or speak to us in
English. That doesn't mean they can't communicate with us. Body language,
normal activity cycles, even facial expressions tell us a lot about
our companions. Still, there is something more, a knowing that bypasses
the traditional senses of taste, touch, sight , smell and hearing. Some
animal communicators call it telepathy, the direct communication of
one mind to another.
What
can it do?
Any topic
is okay; behavior issues, general well-being, an animal's physical or
mental state. The more specific the question, the more specific the
answer. Like with humans, talking with an animal about an issue won't
necessarily resolve it, but it certainly can help in figuring out solutions.
As I am not a veterinarian, I cannot diagnose illnesses or recommend
treatments. What I can do is report what your animal feels at the time
I perform a scan.
How
does it happen?
When I
communicate with an animal, I need to know its name, its age and sex,
and the name of its person. I also need to know what the animal looks
like. The animal can be physically present or I can use a photograph.
The animal can be alive or dead. Then mentally, I call the animal by
name and ask it questions. I wait for whatever answers pop into my head.
I write both questions and answers down. Some communicators "see pictures".
Some hear a different voice in their head, or see colors. Some just
have thoughts pop into their head (like me). Some just "know". Bottom
line? No one knows exactly how it happens.
